It has been made by desiA with English dubing using the voices of the original actors and new voices who are British Indian. This epic journey takes place in Middle-earth during a dark period in its history when Sauron, the Dark Lord, has returned to menace all that is good. The Fellowship finally reunites to take on this monumental task but not everything goes according to plan. The War of the Ring begins: a war that will end all wars and determine the future of Middle-earth and the ultimate fate of everything that we love. DesiA was born in London and moved to India in 2010, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Delhi University, before spending his final year at Oxford University. His love for cinema started with "Mission Impossible" (1996), which changed his life. Since then he has been deeply fascinated by cinematography and story telling, especially after seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012) and "Inception" (2010). With a passion for cinema, desiA began to study screenwriting in 2010 at a film-writing workshop in India. There he learned the basic building blocks of story structure and began to understand the process of screenwriting. He continued to pursue story telling through screenwriting and soon began writing a series of short films. His first short, "Christmas Night" (2011), was shot over a period of three days at a Christmas party. The film won Best Drama at the DC Shorts festival in 2012 and has been screened at multiple film festivals around the world including Frameline37 San Francisco (2013), Outflix Film Festival (2013), Kerala International Film Festival (2012) and Premiers Plans de Cannes Short Film Corner (2012). DesiA's second short "Phobia" (2012) was an experimental film about a man's fear of relationships. In the same year he co-wrote a short film called "Mistress" (2012) which was made in two weeks. In 2013 he wrote and directed his third short film "The Interview" (2013) which won Best Comedy at the Delhi Shorts Festival that same year. In 2014 he directed a short documentary called "The Library Project", which featured in the UK Asian Film Festival in 2015. After a period of self-reflection, desiA decided to direct his own feature film in early 2015. Not being able to find a suitable story, desiA began working on an Indian adaptation of Peter Jackson's Hobbit Trilogy with a video editor from London in January 2015. After months of research and writing, the first draft of the script was ready. In May 2015 the script was sent to a list of Bollywood actors that were selected based on their appearance in Hobbit film series. The final draft for casting was not complete until September 2015. The extremely dynamic time schedule (within three months) presented several challenges to complete this project including; casting, locating equipment, organising locations and keeping the budget within budget constraints. DesiA used his previous knowledge in filmmaking to produce this film which required an immense amount of self-motivation, passion for storytelling and full determination to make this project possible.
